Unchained Wrestling Academy LLC wrestling

OUR PHILOSOPHY

At UWA, we will provide high-quality wrestling training while promoting physical fitness, personal growth, and strong character development.

The first and most important focus of the UWA is to build wrestlers of strong character on and off the mat! What you do when no one is looking matters and we will put a heavy focus on this concept.

I believe there are three aspects of this sport that all wrestlers must understand and be able to implement if they want to be the best they can be:

Wrestle Hard - Our program will focus on helping wrestlers maintain a high level of physical conditioning year round. Wrestlers will learn to use their conditioning as an advantage by competing with courage and wrestling to win positions and to score points. Our focus will be on the process, not the outcome!

Wrestle Smart - Our program will focus on wrestling technique and strategies that work against all competition levels. The UWA has a proven system that has produced champions at all levels. Because of our attention to detail and a process focused system, wrestlers will learn to use proper technique and strategies with confidence.

Have Fun - Wrestling is hard and it takes a tremendous amount of proper training to be successful. We have found that when wrestlers focus on the process of getting better each day and do not worry about wins and losses, they don't just like wrestling, they love it and have fun training! We will teach our wrestlers to focus on the process and daily improvement instead of the outcome of a wrestling match.
